Fails from the first step on login with WORKING gmail credentials. The only thing you get from this application is an error message "failed to login. Check your email or password". I did check on gmail site and the credentials work just fine to log in to gmail account. Its a trash.

This app makes a fantastic way to communicate with each other, Its easy to send a e-mail and message on its platform.

after signing in to gmail, app keeps crashing on my iphone5. useless.

It is definitely the best third-party gtalk application. It supports multiple accounts, I can easily switch accounts on my ipad, its very easy to use. It is perfect for the ipad.

This app with gmails gtalk almost. But it looks very simple, you just use an im program.

Just purchased and cannot sign in. Rejects my gmail address/ password. FRUSTRATING. A piece of junk and a waste of money.

There is no mention of Gtok anywhere on their web site. And this seems to support only 1 account at a time. It also does not support 2 step Google verify. Other than that it does seem to work at the most basic level. I wish the native message app supported gtalk in IOS7.

This app does not use Googles standard account access mechanism, so you have to give it full access to your account. This is especially a pain for people like me who use 2-factor authentication. Im undecided on whether to give the app access to my account and will probably wait until the next update to see if there are any changes. Until then, I guess Im out $3.

Very simple but beautiful UI, exactly designed for iOS7 (strange why does Gtok still stay in iOS6 keyboard?). Normally the third party social chat clients need to connect directly to the official servers, then you wont miss or delay any messages, get best voice quality. I am happy Gtok does the work very well. Could developer update the keyboard to iOS7 style? Thanks.

Its useful. But I usually use some other apps!

I can use Googles Gtalk messaging service with my iPhone. I also can send and receive texts, pictures and emojis on my new retina iPad mini. I can get the best quality calls with my friends because the app connects directly to the Google Talk servers. It is easy to use.

Despite the claims, multiple accounts are not supported. You must sign out and back in.

Great design, but doesnt sync convo with browser and doesnt display true status of contacts. Uninstalled.
